We helped take a traditional craft online and use social media and PR to mobilise a dedicated audience of knitters. A halo campaign around National Knitting Week, tactical PR activity around bad weather and survey data and sheer hard work delivered up extensive national press coverage and extensive feature pieces.

We also devised and launched a knitwear designer competition in partnership with major fashion colleges and recruited a judging panel including LFW designer Emilio de la Morena, Fashion One TV’s Stefanie Rycraft Jones, Guardian Life & Style’s Kate Carter, craft queen Perri Lewis and knitting designer Debbie Bliss.
