Personal Career Management provides high quality, career coaching, out placement and career management programmes for individual and corporate clients. Joint managing director Corinne Mills is also the author of bestselling book ‘You’re Hired – How to write a brilliant CV’.

The company was growing well but wanted to increase their profile and for Corinne to become a thought leader and go-to for comment on careers and workplace issues.

It’s relatively usual for PR agencies to offer clients for expert comment but we needed to go further to develop a vehicle that would provide real continuity. Unusually we approached the publishers and targeted the ‘job search’ pages of the nationals and offered up Corinne to add value to their regular corporate advertisers with a series of expert sessions and in paper columns.

Most notably we held an event for 100 HR Directors of some of the biggest UK employers at The Telegraph building. Corinne has become a regular contributor on Sky News, BBC and breakfast television and radio. She is now firmly positioned as the default for views and advice on topical issues, most recently providing guidance on redundancy and how to change career. Her books including ‘Career Coach’ are considered ‘essential’ reading for anyone looking to secure the perfect role or shift or fast track, how and where they work.
